Hey, if its got cars in it, I'm in! Will have to check it out.
HAHAHAHA boy isn't that the truth. I watched an episode of these guys ripping out a numbers matching chevelle powertrain to put a big block chevy in it!! Unbelievable....I'm not sure if the show is 100% truthful or not, it seemed kinda sketchy to me like all of these "car reality shows" are.

Tommy the owner of the shop and #1 fat guy lol. Didn't like the idea of pulling the engine / drivetrain out of the Chevelle but thats what the owner wanted him to do,so he did.
It will be interesting to see what they do to the GNX if it is in running condition when they get it. I mean if they think putting 20 to 25 thousand into an engine to get it to run 12's is something.

I watch the show just because it's about cars. They are also doing a Barracuda next week too so I have two reasons to watch.
It's nice to have a car show to watch without the drama. As far as the knowledge coming out of the TV speakers??? Not so much.

Hopefully it's a this gnx has been premodded. Let them put a v8 in it. This way the guys fed up w v6 will sbc willing to part w motors. I'm ok w that. One man's junk.....

Just started to watch the show At least they put time on the episode with both cars they are feturing that given week.
Hey anything will be better than the Top Gear episode!! They are in Ohio hopefully they bring in someone to keep the car a V6 I will be done with the show if they drop in a LS motor.

It is rather entertaining to watch a bunch of seriously large fat guys work on cars- reminds me of Chris Farley and the "fat guy in little coat" routine. Watching them hoist one of the big boys into the engine bay of Daytona was fricking hilarious and sad all at the same time. but hey, its a show with cars, so Im in......
10pm Eastern time. 9pm Central for me. And yeah the fat getting lowered in the engine bay totally hilarious agreed.
So you think it is one of the few GNX's that were heavily modded and raced? I know there were a few that have lived this way. It will be interesting to see which # it is. And if it is all bone stock and if they do mod it (keep it all Buick) will this piss off the purist?

the only car shows that matter are the former Powerblock shows... i forget what they are called now because they gave them all stupid names and moved everyone around, but they are on the CBS sports network at something like 6am.. good thing the dvr was invented.. also, there are a couple of decent shows on Velocity- even one where 3 girls (gasp!!) work on cars..
