I'm sorry if you missed this post. I tried to make my intentions quite clear and also tried to get an understanding of yours.

I wouldn't presume to represent him. Unlike us, Tony was working and didn't have time to post. I was just trying to help you get your wish. You were pretty adament how you wanted to race him. My only purpose was to try and negotiate an agreement between the two of you so this race could happen. I don't think there's a person on this board that doesn't want to see that.
You stated "take it or leave it". Did you review the previous posts? TONY SAID HE WOULD RACE YOU. All that you guys had left to do is work out the money. If you are retreating back to the $500 amount, which Tony never agreed to, then you have really shown your true colors and you don't really want to race him.

Your offer is for Tony to drive 6000 miles and race on your track for $500. You said no rules, just 10.5 tire and stock suspension. Tony agreed to the terms, but not the amount. You countered with $1000. Tony said add another digit, and that's where we left off.

Tony's offer is for you to drive 6000 miles and race on his track. He will pay you $10,000 just to show up provided you race him for $10,000. You countered with a list of rules, Tony agreed, and myself and others thought it was a done deal. Is it? If not, why?

Additionally, I offered a place to race for free, Gene offered $500 gas money, Neil added $1000 to the pot, and Jimmy offered another $1000 plus whatever money he "found" between now and then.

I am sure you will correct me if I mistyped anything

This has been entertaining and all to an extent but let's get real here. If Donnie never truly intended to race Tony (which certainly appears to be the case), then no matter what you throw out there he's not going to agree.

Donnie's new combo isn't even bolted together let alone being sorted out. I'm not sure what the status of Tony's car is right now but it has run the number. They live on opposite ends of the country so logistically it would be difficult to arrange. Tony has made a freakin' awesome offer to come play in his yard and I don't know of any heads up race by any sanctioning body that would pay that kind of coin if you won the entire event! Regardless of all this is the fact that the lesson here should be - NEVER TALK SMACK AND CALL SOMEONE OUT IF YOU DON'T INTEND TO SEE IT THROUGH!

I know you say Tony busts your balls just about every time you post but you're going to loose all credibility on here now if you don't see this through. No need for any lists. The race is your 224ci car vs Tony's TSO legal car. Why do you think he would need to bring another car? Based on past performances, he has you covered by around 8 tenths and 15 mph. The biggest stumbling block I see is you making it worth it for Tony to make the drive. He certainly made it worth it for you to come to him. $10000 should cover your expenses even if your TOW VEHICLE HAS A SLIPPING TRANSMISSION WITH 30% DRIVETRAIN LOSSES.

This is really not that complicated. Tony claimed that I should be able to do better on MY track. I challenged him to come show me on MY track. After he shows me how it's done on MY track, I'll race him anywhere he wants. I want our first race to be on MY track. As Tony put it, 'Put your money where your mouth is'. As far as I can tell, Tony wanted to stick to the original challenge. He made that very clear, over and over again, to everyone following this thread. He needs to man up here.
Is Tony not too sure he can handle my home track, now? Is that why he, and everyone else wants to move this to a track that Tony is used to playing on?
Cal. You need to let someone else handle this negotiating. Your input here is not going to help make this happen. In fact, quite the opposite.

You guys just don't get it. I don't give a flying #### what any of you think of me. In fact, I thrive on it, so keep it up. Plus, I just love looking into the true character of some of you. It's entertaining to me.
