Confused ......so we can or cant run the factory coil pack?

The new ignition system is designed to run "smart coils". There is a V6 "wastespark" smart coil, a D599A, that is used on the 2008 Silverado 2WD V6 trucks, and the 2008 Impala LTZ. Its powerful, reasonably priced, and readily available. The system comes with the proper harness for this coil, which mounts on top of the control unit.

Or you can run coil-per-cylinder using LS1 or LS2 coils. The mounting brackets for the individual coils are being finalized.

So, no, you cannot run the factory coil, or module, or plug wires.

The new system has more spark energy, diagnostic features, a built in 2-step, etc...

there are 4 captive nuts in the cover of the unit. M6 thread. So you could attach your bracket to those.

Plug wires can be done in MSD or Moroso. I should have a cheaper verison out next week for guys on a tighter budget.
