The North

We went to Muncie at the end of the year to do our grudge race. I won the first then lost the second due to a -.001 light:redface: Unfortunately that was the last run of the night for me so we could not get the 3rd race in. We'll get it this year....but I'll admit....I'm scared of this extra 2 tenths Ronnie keeps talking about;)

Don't be scared of Ronnie, the black bumpers give you the power:cool:

Since we are making excuses here, I didn't win BG b/c of a fuel pump issue, didn't win Norwalk b/c I didn't drive the car which ended up puking a turbo anyways, didn't win C-bus due to a failed cam sensor and had bad luck again in Osceola when the wide band took a dump in the first round. But that's racing I guess.

Well that makes a nice list of extra parts I might need to keep on hand this year!!

OOH OOH OOH I have a funny joke! I went over to hattiesburg this evening to the gun show and left and went to the race track. I was watching some racing when my wife called and said (here's the punch line) I'M PREGNANT!

No seriously! That's what she said! The smilies represent the stages of acceptance!

Nah, should be ok, we had the racing talk when I got home. All things to remain on schedule barring anything bad happening. It's our third so we have some practice at this!!

Wow! those pregnancy tests are getting better and better. It was only a couple weeks ago when I stayed down there

Just kidding!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Looks like we got a designated driver for Bowling Green ;)

Ronnie, where are the pictures from the meeting???
There were to many top secret things laying around or I would have taken photo's.

Congrats Adam, at least it was'nt your girlfriend!!! J/k My 20 year old daughter just made me a old ass grandpa 2 weeks ago. And at least we know your getting some action from somebody other than the PTP!!!! ;) :D

Don't know if you guys paid much attention to the races and qualifying last year, but my car never qualified any faster or ran any faster than what was needed to gain points. I coulda put it on kill every pass but what fun would that be??

Ronnie, I intend to eat a lot of BBQ and consume plenty of adult beverages this year at BG, so stock up.. :)

There was never any question if you had more. We aSSumed you did and had an idea of how much. Steve's car slowed down with changes after Norwalk and we did not figure out why until we ran out of races. We have no idea if that would have changed any out come of the races and if you noticed you will never see Steve say anything other than thats racing. Who would have figured a set of headers would have been the problem. Don said he was going to run 20s at Norwalk and then went out and did it. We really had no idea how fast he could really go. You put in your time. You raced smart. You brought a well prepared car and you won the championship. Once again you deserved it Congrats.

BTW some of these guys dont know that we have been friends since the Early90s and when we bicker here on the net its all in fun. At least it is on my end hope its the same for you.

WOW! Now that is some added news! CONGRATS!!! ;) :) Be seeing you soon...

Thanks Guys!! We were planning on one more, just not this soon but oh well! It's beginning to sink in!

Looks like sunny skies coming this weekend, and we have a few more parts coming in from the Hartlines this week!!! This should be our last test/tune before we go to FL at the end of the month!!!!!!!

I qualified a 9.49 off the trailer at Norwalk and my best pass was 9.51 in the semis at Norwalk.

I didn't remember. I hope none of that yellow paint rubs off on you this year.. Need to keep at least one fast car up there. So are you going to try the clutch/turbo setup?

Yeah that was not nice of you. I tought people from the south were suppose to be nice and polite.
Well ronnie with you being from the north and a YANKEE I would have suspected you to be alot more talkative!! You pretty much mumbled, I don't know if it was because of the ridged saftey meeting or the drinking..
Anyway I was on the phone with Nelson going over my new website and i'm sorry I cut you short..

Don't worry about the yellow paint Steve, Tim keeps his wheels straight off the starting line. :D  :D

I won't because he actually talks instead of mumbles!!

I was trying to make you think it was Eric. It had to be the saftey meeting cause I don't drink.

Congratulations on the baby!!!!!...

Talk about excited....first time you put the wheels in the air you go home and make a baby:eek: ....I'm glad it didn't go 9.35-9.45...!!!!...you might have gone home and made triplets!!!!!

Tell Lindsey and the boys how happy we are..
