I heard you guys put on one hell of a great BBQ and had a great time. I guess the guys in the " Central North" don't make such a big deal about it though...

Yeah Kevin I think we got alot done yesterday. Underboost is a nice guy and will have a reserved parking spot at BG.

Sully pick a team North or South. We will be glad to have you if you want to defect. :D

We done some secret player trading yesterday and made sure everyone had my hero Steve's exact combo in thier car. :p
I showed them my polished head  I think a few had welder burn from the flash of light that it put off.
We don't waste our time testing all winter like you guy's we already know what works.  :D

Yeah Ronnie, that was a great head job you did there. You still have a lot more head to polish. You should start charging people for your head polishing. I bet the guys from the south would pay big money for your work:smile:

1. Gotta get a prime parking spot! Close to the food network!!

2. Sully ain't going nowhere, he's got too much southern gentleman in him!! Speaking of defectors, where was Sam yesterday?  BBQ's better in the south camp Sam, and as we all know The Force Is Strong With You!

3. Whatever you do in the middle of a circle of northern racers is your business! And chaffing is not the same as burning!

I recived a phone call from this mysterious man last night, He kinda sounded like a street person who found a cell phone so I hung up on him!

I would be willing to bet it was a northern phone call..;)

I think you guys are few years too late?? lol You won't have any competition in 2009.

I think you need to aim higher.. I think Steve only ran high 50s and 60s in competition last year. ;)

So when ya'll were all standing in a circle looking at your head, who was the pivot man??

I haven't heard of anyone in the south testing except for Adam, and that's because they just got his car running.. We mostly relax and enjoy the weather down south  Did I tell you it will be sunny and high 60s today?? ;) (EDIT: Low 70s)

Yeah that was not nice of you. I tought people from the south were suppose to be nice and polite.

But Steve never lost a race in a low nine second car with a 10 second pass.
There was no circle they viewed it one by one.:D
It is suppose to be 55 tommorrow and 60 degrees tuesday.:p

He ran hi 9.40s at Norwalk. Changed headers after that race and car slowed down. We found out later Why. Woulda Coulda Shoulda. Shame will not get to see the rematch as I recall Don, Jason and Steve are all tied up at 1-1. So I guess you are correct. Steve's car is slow compared the top runners but he trailered a couple faster cars. As for competition I am sure there will be plenty. You guys have a new racer there in Jacksonville that if he follows threw will do very well. Adam, Chris, Randy I am sure will be very competitive with you guys helping them and Sully is always tough. I hear we might even see the Missile at BG for one last show before moving on and that the famous JW might have a ride for that show to.

These guys up North want to beat each other just as bad as the southern group. The Great Kevin B Lemay race is tied up at 1-1 and needs a final. Racing should still be real fun. I think BG could be the shoot out this year. Poor Steve has the bullseye on his head among the ranks up North.

Steve did beat me once, it was by a few hundreths.. Oh and there was no water in the engine and a big crack in the head as well as cracks in all 6 chambers... I shoulda beat him, just wasn't willing to push the car any harder and cause a wreck, in fact probably shouldn't have even raced the car after the first qualifying pass when we found the crack but I wanted points. See here http://www.turbobuick.com/forums/turbo-lounge/252876-look-crack-heads.html

Don't know if you guys paid much attention to the races and qualifying last year, but my car never qualified any faster or ran any faster than what was needed to gain points. I coulda put it on kill every pass but what fun would that be??

Ronnie, I intend to eat a lot of BBQ and consume plenty of adult beverages this year at BG, so stock up.. :)

Since we are making excuses here, I didn't win BG b/c of a fuel pump issue, didn't win Norwalk b/c I didn't drive the car which ended up puking a turbo anyways, didn't win C-bus due to a failed cam sensor and had bad luck again in Osceola when the wide band took a dump in the first round. But that's racing I guess.

LOL, notice the coulda shoulda woulda's... It's all racing sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't.

Why don't KFB and the Banana have a best two out of three at BG for bragging rights? Maybe put some wagers on it.. :D

We went to Muncie at the end of the year to do our grudge race. I won the first then lost the second due to a -.001 light:redface: Unfortunately that was the last run of the night for me so we could not get the 3rd race in. We'll get it this year....but I'll admit....I'm scared of this extra 2 tenths Ronnie keeps talking about;)

I don't need to make excuses why i lost. I'm not the King and i don't have a Cruz missle under the hood. Anybody here smarter than a 5th grader.

From the winning time ticket at Norwalk. Isn't that more than a few hundreds.
