Will I have problems with burning up hood pad with new motor and turbo?

It crossed my mind the other day that there are several variables about my new motor/turbo combo that might not be so friendly to my hood pad insulator. First of all I am using both HRPartsNStuff poly motor mounts which will raise the motor slightly. Secondly my new turbo(CPT70 Q-trim) is definately a good bit bigger size wise than my old TE45a. With the stock motor mounts and the TE45a I ran no turbo shield for over a year without any problems. If I do encounter problems with this new combo do you guys have any suggestions of how to remedy the situation? I'd like to not roast my perfectly good original hood pad if I dont have to.

Thanks

It prolly won't hurt the pad, much,, but those little plastic retainers that hold it up can melt. Then the pad sags and ugliness can begin.
