What would you pay for this GN

looks like a GM Moon Roof to me .. I agree the guy "forgot" the hole in the headliner when they did it over

I wouldn't trust carfax any further than I could throw the piece of paper it printed on.
My 86 (I'm the original and only owner) shows up with odo tampering and a bunch of other stupid stuff that never happened.

CARFAX sux, plain and simple.

Offer him 9.5 and tell him he can keep the junk in the trunk.

I was thinking the same way.....9.5k-10.5k would be a steal, if the rust was just surface stuff. Looks like a clean stock car. Finding anything with under 100k miles and mostly factory stock is a challenge any more. I'm with TurboDave, they can keep the tunes!

I think its brand X. I cant see the little flapper rubber seal on the front and it looks more smoke tint than the silver tint the factory has.

look at the pic with the moon roof open .. aftermarkets have a frame that sets on the roof.. Factory ones had a nice "hole" without any molding around the opening

Definately a CF5. the little flapper rubber seal plain as day. Course I have the benefit of looking right at mine ;)

damn haven't checked this thread all day! I took a picture of the RPO codes and checked them all out. Everything matches as far as I can see. It is a factory moon roof car CF5. The headliner looked different so I guess they didn't put the cap back on when they covered it.

I told him about the system and keeping it he didn't seem to care about it either way. In that area the first thing you do is install a system! I guess that's why it's in there. It's also posi car. Fixed mount antenna was another option. Also came with standard cassette no eq radio.

Grumpy that is a mustang over there. The guy who owns the place owns it. It's got super low miles and is a convertible. He's selling it I think. That name Dr Simeones does sound familiar to me for some reason but can't remember where I heard it.

That is rust in the moon roof area there. I was a little worried about that too when I saw it!

Dr Simeones has a BIG $$$$ car collection that has a Cobra Daytona Coupe  Think he is building a new museum out by the airport  .. I need a Mustang convert :p

You can see a little more of that mustang in this pic...

hmm also notice the new GM part number sticker on the hood!!

That sounds about right. It's really nice. In fact Terry Shaw did an appraisal on it when I had my TTA done.

You can see a little more in these pics :)

Yup that's Ray and Terry Shaw in the other one  Oxford circle is a walk in the park compaired to the area this GN is in! Let's just say I needed an escort to get in there and i'm not talkin the sexy hot female type!

It has to be in North Philly... When I stationed at the Shipyard, I used to go up there to eat all the time. That was back in the early 90's.

Looks like a decent GN, minor rust issues I've seen 20x worse, including the door bottoms on the one I have now. Worth 10k IMO. The badlands is a great area, I get the pleasure of working there every day (but I got a badge and gun-lol)

The hood would bother me the most, why would you need a new hood unless you got the stock one mashed in an accident, which might explain the scoop being gone.

There doesn't seem to be any $$ in the car other than the repaint and the headliner/exhaust ( ditch the system ).

If you plan on racing the car I would rather buy one with a ton of work done to it for $12k etc. If you plan on it being a daily driver then I would really look into that hood issue and if it's hail etc then not a dollar more than $11K IMO. If it's a crash then no more than $8k.
