What translator settings do you use?

I am putting my translator in this weekend. It is the standard one, not the Translator plus. Do most of you leave the MAF settings at zero, or have them set rich or lean?

Also since I do not have an Extender, the instructions say to turn switch 3 to "on". It was switched to "off" as shipped. Just want to make sure this should be on. Thanks

Did anyone get an improvement in driveability simply by switching MAF's?

I've had my translator + for a couple of weeks and have tried a lot of the settings. Mine runs and idles best with no change in the base fuel setting. The extender chip allows maf readings higher than 255. Since you don't have the chip, that dip switch needs to be set accordingly, just like the instructions say.
