What rear gear ratio are yall running?

Doing pretty good how bout you? All the local tracks are 1/8 but I'm sure I'll end up on a 1/4 somewhere.

Well that's a long story Jimmy, but not a happy one at the moment.:frown:

If you decide to run both then I'd say go 3.42 or 3.73. Any more than that and the RPM's will go way to high. Are you gonna tear into the engine and tranny? There's only a few places in DFW that I'd honestly do any of the work. Call me tomorrow and we can chat.

I hope you're joking. To change displacement you need to physically alter the space inside the cylinder. Stuffing more air in it doesn't do that.

It may not strike you as the same as a larger bore or longer stroke, but what do you call it when you force 2+atmospheres of pressure into a cylinder?

You're not even doing that. You're getting a higher mass flow through the same displacement engine.

You can double or triple or even quadruple in some instances an engines output by increasing the CR.
