I realize you're joking but I just went through a symposium about the new EPA regulation changes. The EPA has increased the rate of it's Freon phase out 300%. They say HCFC R-22 with its claimed .05% chance of effecting the Ozone and 1277 GWP (global warming potential) is bad for the environment but one of the replacements with its 3740 GWP is okay with it also being 10%-15% less efficient resulting in higher electric consumption.
CO2 has a GWP of 1 and its considered a pollutant. Yea we're on the right track now.
