Typical GN Weight

I brought my car to Norwalk this past weekend and finally got the oppertunity to put it on a scale. I was shocked with the results the car weighed 3315 with out me and 3520 with me. This is a lot lighter than what I've seen the past.

car only , 3500 lbs and thats with no jack/spare , and lighter GNX 16" rims and about 1/2 tank fuel , would weigh about 100lbs more with jack /spare and GN rims

GN = 3670 lbs.

WE4 = 3800 lbs.

Without me.

Added a few lbs. to the WE4 over the years, rust didn't help lower the weight either.

Track gas between 8-10 gallons when weighed.

yep, we have heavy cars. mine weighs:
3440 lbs
moonroog, power everything, weld wheels, hollow sway bar, no jack or spare.

I guess the moonroof weighs about 40 lbs?? I love it though. All these mustangs I race have a 500-600 lb advantage over me. not fair

Mine weighed 3705 yesterday with me, roll bar, 10 gallons of gas and w/o the spare - I weigh about 170.

where to get the actual weight
englishtown raceway has a scale on the return road of the track
drive up and get your weight

the local recycler has a scale as well

go to a truck stop. they have scales for semi's.. its like $8 or so

has heavy lear seats
has heavy f-body seat braces
nothing in trunk except filled propane injection kit...
