Stage II picture thread- Let's see 'em!

Question. I see that some stage 2’s have coil packs and others have distributors. What is the difference?

I think that the difference comes from personal experiences , many people got tired of buying ignition modules and coil packs and were told to get a distributor and never look back, there have been waste spark and energy debates, crank trigger issues, when we look back at this thread next year you will see more pics of coil on plug and belt driven distributor setups. I have seen 7 second setups with all four types of ignition systems.

Well to add to my grey car I am working on I picked up my old gn. Off buddy of mine. It needs to be completed also. Not far from being done either. Just don't know if I got time. Just have to decide to finish or part out. It's a 4.1 off center stage 2 also. Lots of new parts here's few pics I have at moment.

That whole project is beautiful. The car looks immaculate. I would keep it all together if I had to sell it.

Blast from the past! I was able to retrieve a few pics from an old camera. At this location there were 3 stage 2 blocks. 2 off centers and 1 on center. I purchased an off center and a week later went to go purchase the other but a deposit was on it and I got the on center block. Day late and a dollar short! More to come.

Interesting header design, does the left bank enter at the turbo collector?
