SMC alcy pump electrical noise?

Hey guys...I don't know if anyone has ever had this problem...but I have the SMC kit.

When I try using turbolink, the program works fine until the alcohol injection turns on (under boost). As soon as the unit is in operation, all I get with turbolink is invalid readings...until I let off the gas and the pump stops working.

I've tried running 15lbs of boost on and off the alcohol, and Turbolink reads fine when the alcohol isn't on. What I'm wondering is, where could this interference come from? I have the SMC controller powered off the fuse block...

Thanks in advance,

John

Easy, just run power from the back of the alternator, and use a relay switched via ignition.

Terminals wired on Bosch 30 amp relay,

30 alternator(12 guage w/fuse like 15 Amp)
87 SMC power(red)
85 Ignition
86 ground

Problem has to do with interference on the power wires. Some say adding a capacitor like 470 uf 25v electrolytic, or 1000 uf 25v across the red/black wires will also cure this.

One thing for sure, using power from the alt or battery this way, will fix the condition.
