...I know i will have the snowball effect going on also
Cool! Please keep me updated on it
That looks like the most complicated radio install in history.
The snowball effect. Happens all to often.
It started simple enough. The 20 year old radio and speakers needed replacing. OK, so I have the radio out, now what?
Wow, usually not necessary to remove the entire interior to replace a radio but love your enthusiasm. BTW, if you change the antenna on the fender it is NOT necessary to pull the engine and transmission!
L O L!!!!!!!!!! Well put!!!

Eh, what was that you say, sonny?
A couple decades of shooting with no ear protection in the 70s and 80s whacked some of my hearing. Good reason for a decent stereo system.
Excellent write up Dean! I really appreciate it, it'll give me something to do when I get the GN out of storage &/or when I get home
How does it sound?
Any questions or if you need any pics, send me a note. This of course goes for anyone.
I don't know how it sounds yet - still not done, and lots to do, but I think I now have everything I need to finish, or at least it is on its way. After reading up on the 16V supply lines out of the HU, I realized I had to order interconnect cables to reach from the HU to the balanced line adapter which will be next to the amp. My projects take a LONG time due to other life commitments. I have some parts that sat on a shelf for so long they are now dang near useless due to technological advances. I'm hoping to make some headway this w/e as the family is out of town, but my basement is so far requiring constant attention due to flooding from this relentless rain. I have shop-vac'd over 1000 gallons out so far!
Hehe... yeah. Lotsa time can pass you by.... I found a milk carton way, way in the back today that had a picture of the Lindberg baby on it that said "Have you seen me?"
BTW, if you change the antenna on the fender it is NOT necessary to pull the engine and transmission!
Hey hesermon, I went to change the plugs today and had a little trouble getting to a couple of them. Am I going about this the right way?
