Problem Under Boost

Hello everyone and thanks for your time.

The problem I am having is when I get into the gas a little bit and the boost kicks in, after a little while ,without full throttle the waste gate sounds like its opening and the car loses power.(popping noise). Wondering if anyone can pass some info. Again thanks for your time.

Need more information...

I doubt that it's your wastegate opening... and the popping noise what ever it is, will be picked up by the knock sensor,which will retard the timing and slow the motor down. Do you happen to have a scanmaster? It could be all kind of things, fuel filter/pump/injectors,wires/plugs, ect. If you don't have a scanning tool maybe you could borrow one. There should be other turbo buicks in your area...look for a local buick club to hang out with, you can find these doing a google search. These guys have tons of knowledge...
