Poston header & 2.5" DP Compatiablity?

I picked up a pass. Poston header awhile back and am finally putting it in. The gent I bought it from told me it was a tight fit and in his haste dented his DP to make it work. It is definetly tight I learned quickly and went to grinding down the back side of the up-pipe flange where is interferes with the DP. Having grinded down as much as I dare it is still very tight and difficult to get the header to bolt up flush. As anyone had this difficulty? What did you do to get it all to come together? Thanks in advance.

Have them on both T's and fitment is great.

Are you running it with a 2.5 inch DP as well?

Running 1 T Type w/ a 2.5 and the other w/ a 3.00. Fitment is good on both.

Well I'm happy for you but my problem and therefore my question remains. Anyone have this problem?

With my 3" dp had to grind on the back of the flange for the up pipe.

My understanding is the postons have the same fit as stocks and if anything give more clearance in most areas.
