Hey, anybody use this yet? I used permatex thread sealant with teflon (765 1188) to seal the head bolts and never had a leak. I cant find that anymore.
I can only find thread sealant with PTFE. (80632). Anybody using this? How did it work? Thanks in advance. Dan

should be the same thing. Teflon is an abbreviated form for the full monte PTFE (Polytetrafluouroethylene) sp?

I bought the bolt sealant and thread lubricant from ARP. The thread lube is great and it is also an anti seize

Teflon is a brand name for PTFE.

Hey thanks for the responces. I was always told to use the teflon, and then the name teflon disappeared from the bottle. So i wanted to check into it before using it. Anybody using anything that works better? Thanks Again

I use ultra grey gasket maker. That teflon sealant is a mess when you have to pull the studs and have to clean and reinstall.
