Painting Quarter Window Trim

My quarter window trim was "burned" in a few places while owned by the previous owner and it's bugging the piss out of me. Not the outer rubber portion, but the middle section. I'm ready to prep, mask and paint and am trying to figure out which shade of black was used from the factory. I have a few cans of SEM trim black, but it appears to me that these were more glossy than matte. Anyone provide some guidance on this?

Regards,
John

Believe it or not, a friend (ScotW) recommended Dupli-color Engine Enamal ceramic, and on the cap it's labeled Low Gloss 1634. It's perfect for all the trim work on the car. Virtaully identical to SEM trim black but better. Quicker drying, harder finish and looks oh so good.

Hey Dave, thanks for the good word. I'll stop and pick some up this evening.

Regards,
John

Dave, I prepped and painted the quarter windows this week. Paint worked as described, it's good stuff.

Regards,
John
