oil in turbo

I recently spun 3 bearings in my motor. Do I need to try to flush out the turbo? Is it something I can do myself or do I take it somewhere?

I was recently thinking about this myself as the bearings (most likely) in my motor just went. Might be worth sending it out to have it examined. No idea how much it costs though.

I talked to the machine shop today and they recommended running a like a tranny flush through.it

I think it’s better to take it to a garage and have a full examined. It’s wise to get professional comments for news things than trying it by your self. Some minor things will get worse if you attend to repair without proper knowledge and training.

If you are running the factory oil feed setup then your turbo will have thrust failure very soon if you run it. Once metal goes through the engine it will go through the turbo unless you are feeding it with oil that is filtered only.
