For numerous reasons I have decieded to buy a non lock up converter. Ive narrowed it down to either a vigilante 9.5" n/l or an art carr 9". Ive driven a car with the vigilante that was a 3500rpm and it was fine on the highway and stalled against the foot brake nice as well. Never driven a car with an art carr but Im told theyre very nice. Im looking for something that will give me 3500 rpm against the foot brake and not slip profusely on the big end. Help me out here. :)

I have used the original Art Carr converters with very good success.
Thier latest models are quite effient on the top end. When I bought mine, I was told it would work best over 5000 rpm. It is a 3500 stall and worked great.
It is now for sale also.
Thanks, Brian
