Made 5 passes tonight at a T&T in Gainesville. My best was 11.25@121.83mph. That's a new best for my car. My best 60 time was only 1.7 seconds. I know if I can get the 60's down I can hit a high 10. I am happy with the car. All runs @ 23psi and 23/23 timing.

1st pass-11.45@121mph
2nd pass-11.43@121mph
3rd pass-11.34@121mph
4th pass-11.25@121mph
5th pass-12.5@119mph

Te-60, Champion heads/intake, 206 roller, 60's, T+/TT chip, Razor's alky, Janis transmission, MT 275/60/15 dr's.

2.7 60ft time. Car is down right now, but 10's are right around the corner.

Thanks

Chris

It's a Te60 with a garrett .63 housing. I'm sure I could run more than 23 psi but that's good enough for me. I think a better 60 time and a little tuning would net me a high 10. I am happy with the car it runs real strong when it's running. Cam sensor failed @ wot so heads gaskets are gone, it'll be fixed soon and back to the track I go.

Congrats...

It is refreshing seeing 11.20's (considering the lazy 60' time) out of an old school TE60 on relatively low boost....and to see 121 mph.....

Great job..... now go get the 60's down to the 1.5's... and 10's are there. Great job!

GNsnake,

I live here in G'ville let me know the next time you'll be here and I'll come watch man.

This track has always been hard to launch on without some suspension work. It is just not easy on completely stock cars at all.

To launch here you need a very firm rear suspension with 4-6 negative pinion angle and very good posi control as the track does not offer equal footing to the rear tires ever. Everyone I've talked to who gets good 60' times run this.
I need to get the adjustable uppers.

The only time I've ever been happy launching is week after Gator Nationals when all the rubber and stickey is on the track. See my sig below.
