New Best- 11.6 at 117.2

Finally was able to make it to the dragstrip. The first run the car ran an 11.8 at 116 with a 1.72 60' at 22 psi. My second run showed some knock so i lifted. My final run it hooked and ran an 11.6 at 117.2 with a 1.67 60' at 21 psi. Not bad for a little TA49. I was only launching at about 2-3 psi too.

Nice times with the Ta49, what are you tuning with wideband.

I had it dyno tuned at Ottos and its been pretty dead on. Don't have a wideband installed yet, but might get one pretty soon. On the scanmaster it's been reading between 740-760 in third gear.

I'm running Mickey Thompson 255/60/15 drag radials at 17 psi. I couldn't fit the 275/60/15's with the wheels I have without severe rubbing. Next time I have to remove the front sway bar to launch harder. I tried a 6lb launch and with the fast spooling ta49 it spun.

That's the same tires I run @20lbs. Do you have airbags too? I've got a 36mm front bar that I leave on but I do have the big bar on the back. Launches straight.

Car looked good and it was a clean pass to. It was actually one of the faster times that day at the rental.

update. Ran an 11.5 at 118.6 at 22 psi. Launched at 6 psi and got a nice 1.6 60 ft. The 1/8 mile time was a 7.43 at 94.4. The temp was in the mid 90s too.

That is a great ET and MPH. Check your injector duty cycle, I bet you've about maxed out those 42.5lb injectors.

Probably pretty close to maxing them out. I have the gain set to 7 on my alky controller and the o2's were in the 790's.

I would have to check what Jason did,we didnt push it far as it was a fresh motor and a SMC alky kit.

What exhaust housing are you running with that turbo. Precision or Factory Garrett? Thanks!
