Man I love Turbos

Not Buick but you got to love this. LS1 twin turbo kit installed by my friend's girlfriend. She pulled the motor, did the compleat install herself and put it back in the car. The car put down 555 HP to the wheels on their new load bearing dynojet. People in the stands were saying what is that, it's too quiet.
This is the first time to the track, still getting thing worked out with the tune.

Another LS1 from the same shop. This car has a 408 stroker built for the twin turbo kit. Car has a 4L80e trans and a 9" rear with 275/60/15 M/T street radials. Car made 850 HP / 970 TQ on it's first dyno pull but the boost controller was not working and it hit 20 lbs. of boost. Thank goodness they started out with a fat tune and have a good fuel system. They finally had to run it off the spring of the wastegates because the boost controller was bad. At 8 psi it put down 650 HP / 820 TQ if I remember correctly. This is the first pass at the track with the trans not shifting right for some reason.

6.48 at 107 with a 1.46 60 FT
