Was in Vegas, went to auto display in the old Imperial Casino. Saw this GN on display, 1450

actual miles???

Nice, but there are GNX's with far fewer miles.

Oh, btw, buy a camera that has the ability to focus.

There are TR's with between 3 and 5 miles on them. I doubt any of them are gnx's since they were chassis dynoed and this accounted for a few miles. Seems like the gnx cars had between 8
and 9 miles on them typically.

Whatever someone is willing to pay.

Well the reason I ask is because I might be able to purchase one with similar mileage from original owner. After doing some research it seems like a perfect condition original can go as much as $40k, I would be comfortable paying around $30k if it were worth it, I'm just not 100% sure. Is there anything in particular I should look at when I go see the car? I'm sure something that old with such little use has to have a few issues.

Would you be buying this as an investment, garage ornament, weekend cruiser or weekend racer?

Strictly as an investment and garage ornament. I probably won't drive it more than around the block every now and then. I plan on keeping the mileage under 2k as long as I have it. I'm sure within the next 5-10 years the value will increase steadily if kept in its original shape.

I have a 9,200 mile GN with some upgrades but have all original parts down to the original spark plugs and original GT tires. I have my first baby on the way so might let it go for the right offer

I bought a 1,910 mile 87 GN Hardtop 1.5 years ago for $24,500 and just sold it for $29,000. It was 100% an all original 1,910 mile car for sure. I had all original paint, smelled new, original bumper fillers, original tires, and fully documented. it is worth what someone is willing to pay. I sold it to a dealer (2,400 miles) who specializes in specialty cars and he re-sold it for $32,000.

That's good to know, I actually went to see the 1,70 mile GN last week and it was actually a mess. The guy was definitely the original owner but he completely neglected the car as it looked pretty good on the inside but like crap on the outside. He wanted 38,000 for it lol. I'm gonna go look at another one this weekend that has 4k miles on it and has never been registered. Wish me luck!

Is this is the one in Plantation Florida in a storage unit? If so he is 100% not the original owner. He is like the 2nd or third owner but he never registered it. There is an open title and that is not good. It is not very nice including a decent amount of rust underneath the car. I think the car was showing 1,7xx miles when I saw it. It even had paint missing on the front nose a little larger than a quarter in size.

Good luck this weekend. PM me the results.
