Well I graduated from Chapman U this past saturday which was the probably the best day ever. My cousin who graduated from Cal state Fullerton last year put on his cap and gown and "graduated" with me! He got a diploma case, pictures with the President and everything. I think we're the only idiots in America that would think of doing such a thing.

I can now start fixing my car and get a real job so I can save enough to buy the $124315318734 starter home in Orange County. Anyone have any career ideas?

you could be a pimp.

lots of sucessful ones out there,
you gonna make Bates nut farm next week?

OH,, congratulations !!!!!!
you have more determination than most.

Congrats, Phil!

Are you still gonna pursue the job in Gay Porn that your always talking about? ;)

yah its so shweet. They offered me a part-time "fluffer' position in the valley. I get paid 6.75 an hour and all the man meat I can handle. Hopefully I can work my way down to the top.

Thanks guys, I appreciate it. Hopefully everything works out as I planned.

I'll have a big mac & order of fries please!

cONGRATS pHIL :p

Found this on the other board and thought of you, I can't...no longer young or tough, but do know how to drink coffee

Consider the local Electric utility. Two-thirds of linemen will be retired in the next five years, while demand for electric will double in the next 15 years. The industry if facing a severe shortage. Some companys are even paying for schooling before they hire an applicant.

You better be young, and tough (like a 2 dollar steak *G*) but with the obligatory overtime $100,000 + a year is common.

unfortunatly political science. Now I have no marketable skills.
I'll have to rely on my fluffer position for income.
Phil! aerospace is also desperate for good people especially engineers. With your knowledge of rockets & jet propulsion you could go far ( don't go postal only joking) Seriously though that might be worth looking into. A lot of baby boomers are retiring & there is a great need for people to replace them.

I actaully want to become a Business Broker. I'm my own boss and the commissions are large. The only problem is its an old mans game and I'm 22, 23 in sept. I'll need to get some experience in sales and try to get in with a brokerage firm. I've been looking into this position for the last couple months and at least give it a shot.

That's actually a great idea. Since when is making money an old mans game? What you have to remember is that no matter what career you chose. It takes about ten years to be good at anything. Most of all you got to have balls, patience & a healthy amount of self confidence to become successful. Life has away of eating up those that don't,won't or can't.
