For parked cars........

I carry a valve core remover with me. Remove the valve cores and leave them on top of the roof by the drivers door. This causes no damage just an inconvience. How many carry the tool to put them back? ;)

I do, but I don't carry an air tank around with me.:D

ANOTHER THING that sets people off are BUMPER STICKERS. They will attack your vehicle if your sticker offends them.

Funny my NRA sticker seems to keep em away. :)

I simply carry a can of wasp and hornet spray. It shoots up to 20ft. Dont bother trying to fight with the douches. Spraying their drunk asses in the face will cause more pain than your fists will. I had a little douchebag cut me off a few weeks ago. So i layed on the horn. This little a$$hole (all 5'3" 125 lbs of him) stops on the highway and gets out of his POS car and begins to approach mine. I restrained myself from getting out of my car because i dont need to be arrested for crushing a little POS like this. I did not have the spray yet since i got the idea shortly after this incident but if i did i would have emptied the whole fvcking can in his face. I wouldnt leave the can of spray in plain sight in the car especially if its too cold for those types of insects in your area.

Interesting idea but please don't do this Brian. It's technically assult with a deadly weapon. Hosing someone down with with poison may get you in a bunch of trouble.

As far as what happened to you Todd, I'm very sorry this happened to you but I hope your birthday went better.:) I currently work in retail and have seen a bunch of crap at the store. People have no respect for anything including their own property. To most, value is something they get when they sh!ton something and it holds up. It's sad to say but true.

i know just how you feel. i used to drive a beautiful white crown vic. i like cars that are a little different. this thing had the push bumper, black windows, a full k-9 cage. it looked 110% legit, and was a blast to drive, (i didn't worry about left lane hogs- they'd move right on over). i went for a short stay in the hospital (kidney failure), upon getting to the parking deck, the front corner light had been smashed, and the hub caps on one side stolen.

a few weeks ago, my wife was at the ob/gyn (pregnant). this a$$wipe, watched me pull forward, to get in the center of my spot. he just pulls in and bam, knocks the wholly chit out of my truck with his door. i couldn't even say anything. i had to just bite my tounge. i'd have gone to jail for sure otherwise. i don't have anger problems, but i can develop a quick temper, and a nasty mouth.

Sorry to hear what happened to your car, that really sucks. People are so disrespectful anymore and it seems to not be getting any better. When I was over in Saudi Arabia during Desert Shield/Desert Storm, we actually witnessed their form of punishment as we were passing by. We were warned that this is how they "deal" with certain crimes. It's almost a shame it's not done here, I think some of these punks would think differently. If it makes you feel any better, I get some lasy calling me at 10:30 in the evening this last Friday calling me everything under the sun, when I told her she had the wrong number very polietly, she still told me to go &*%@ myself and then hung up. I almost called her back since I had her number thanks to caller id, but then I told myself to just let it go, and be the bigger person.

Hey just another suggestion! I live in Montana where the bears are outta hand! You can buy a can of bear spray for about $45 which although expensive will take down a grizzly bear at a sprint! if anyone needs me to ship them one for security purposes let me know! they sell it in every store here and i have 2 for myself! one in my turbo t and one in my suburban! its like the normal pepper spray just 4 times the size!

Reminds me of a story my dad told me that happened in the early 70's....he was sitting in his 66 Impala 4 door and some lady pulls up next to him in the parking lot and opens her driver side car door into his passenger side door, then just walks off and ignores my dad when he got out of his car to confront her. So my dad instead takes his passenger side door and deliberately rams it into this lady's driver side door several times, as a way of getting revenge. :D I'll bet she wished she would have just owned up when she came back.

lol 87regal, I have a friend that did that! He had just got out of the navy back in the late 80s and bought a IROC camaro. Him and his wife went to the store and she went in while he waited in the car. He had , had the windows tinted dark and a guy came up beside his car and parked. Got out of his truck and wham , hit his door HARD. The jerk then closes his door and looks over HIS truck to make sure it didn't damage it and starts walking off. By now my bubbys wife was walking out of the store coming to the car. Al gets out of the car and walks around to see a HUGE dent right in the middle of his car door and hollers at the guy. He takes off into the store ! Al decided screw it, his door was messed up anyway so he grabbed it at the back and slammed it into the guys trucks about 5 or 6 times as hard as he could swing it ! Just caved in the guys truck door like a beer can lol. Then they got in and left hahahahhaa. Carma is a bi#$ch

Sorry about your car.

This happened about 2 years ago in front of my brother's house on a quiet little side street. I had arrived early at his house, ~4:00 AM to take him to the Philly Airport. I wasn't supposed to be there until 4:30 and didn't want to wake the house so I sat in my car (engine/lights off) until he was ready. The street was well lit and I can see two guys walking towards me who probably just closed a bar somewhere.

There was a row of five cars parked on the curb and just as they approached a neighbor's car (a 320 Benz) one of the guys just randomly jump-kicks the driver door for no reason. This was 2 cars up from mine and I couldn't believe what I just witnessed.... I was stunned to say the least. One guy was pretty big and the other guy was about 5'8" and skinny. As they approached my car I sprung out and scared the crap out of both of them. The skinny dude ran away like a little girl but the big guy stayed put. I'm not a big guy by any means but I told the dude that what his friend did was just plain wrong. He got all apologetic and kept saying don't tell the cops over and over. I told him to get the hell out of here and get his sorry a55 home.

Some people just have no respect for other people's property nowadays.

Stories like this are what have caused my paranoia as well. I dont really park my car anywhere anymore (except the gas station). I just take it out of the garage, go for a ride, then put it right back. Its a shame, I used to enjoy the car much more when I didnt worry so much about it. I dont even go to shows anymore, seems like more damage can happen there than anywhere.

....he slapped my car, and thought it was funny, and was telling all his friends about how funny he thought it was. I lost my cool and came flying out of the car running off at the mouth. I few people outside calmed me down and pulled me away. As I am walking back to my car, I notice that my PS corner marker and headlight bucket are in pieces on the ground. I lost it again. I was almost in tears I was so mad at this point.

Well, You acted like I would have/had. Except instead of my friends holding me back, they would have probably reached the $ss first before I could have. You did the right thing though. Someone who is so messed up to want to destroy someone else's beautiful car also has other problems, and probably other weapons. At least in your story only your car got hurt.

x2 I just rather avoid the problems that i'm sure will happen if i park where some idiot/s can get at it,that's just a part of life these days.

It seems like all the good people are over fighting the wars for us and all the idiots that tear other peoples cars up are left here to be jerks because they are to affraid to go fight in a war,but yet consider themselves tough guys.

Sorry bout yer Birthday but maybe an opposite approach would work for ya.
When I ran in the bar scene, I went the anti-paranoia route. I parked front and center, left my windows down and a key/quickclick fob in ignition that had one mismatched tumbler and wouldn't really start the car, just in case. NObody EVER F'd with that car!;)

Thanks for all the replys guys! I hate say it, but reading soem of your stories made me feel better about it. I guess I'm not the only one wh o attracts dumba$$ drama. Either way, I'm pretty over it by now. It just kinda looks like my corner markers are tinted now if you look at it from a distance. I'm still looking for a set of lights and headlight buckets, but I think they are going to have to wait a while. The day after this happened my fuel pump took a crap on me. what luck, huh? lol.

I dont carry the tool so i can put mine back i carry it the same reason you do:biggrin:. First time i did it was in high school. I was backing into a space and some little bitch pulled in and i advised her to move to a different spot. She didnt. Unfortunately i didnt get to see her reaction to her four flat tires. I just left the cores on the ground next to her flat tires. Ive only had to do this a few times in my life. One time i did it at the casino for the same reason. I bet the losers girlfirend thought he was real cool for sticking to his decision and not moving the car when i advised him to when they came back to 4 flat tires about 5 levels up in a parking garage:biggrin:. He was a little spikey haired douchebag too. I threw his cores over the barrier though since he was such an a$$hole.

Anywhere but a bar............ if he slapped my car Id slap him back. People suck

Very sorry to hear. And another Happy B-day to you.
You did the right thing, never know what these Braindead tweakers will do today.

A few years back where I live, this guy got cut off at an intersection and it almost caused him to crash into another car. He honked & an argument started, both drivers got out. While they're standing there cussing each other the passenger in the car that cut him off came up behind him and hit him in the back of His head with a tire tool. He died a few days later.

A friend of mines school mate was at a mall a few months back with his wife. Some A-hole says some very nasty comments to his wife in the parking lot. The guy tells him to leave her alone, the A-hole says "sorry man" & they turn & start to walk away to get in their car. The A-hole drop kicks him in the back which causes his head to ram face 1st into a steel security light pole. He recieved a crushed face & brain damage. He's better now but has permanent brain damage speech problems etc.. He's one on the nicest people you could ever meet and this crap happens.
As I always say, never ever turn your back on someone you don't know.
Todd
