I already know from track runs last year that I am in need of a better convertor. With this in mind, would a dyno run with the convertor locked give more realistic info to base the selection of a new convertor off of? I already asked, they do not have a way to directly monitor engine rpm as of yet. I can use powerlogger to record rpm/mph of course, but would like to see the hp/tq curves be as accurate as possible(at least as far as what rpm peaks are), versus calculated guessing on their part of convertor slip. Suggestions?
Have the opportunity to get my car on a dyno this coming weekend....
