At a quick look, with keeping the wheels as they are, it looks like I should be able to get a quick $4k for some of the more expensive parts that I have on the car including swapping them for lower level/stock type parts.

I am not counting the Z51 brake kit, new steering gearbox, Jeep steering shaft, or full set of seat covers in that number yet. That's probably another $700-$800 I could get, those are just sitting collecting dust at the time. Also have a brand new LT1 starter to install, the stock one started to 'hang up' a week or so ago so I will include that with the car, or swap it myself soon.

Smoke out of the oil breather does not def mean rings are failing. Do a compression test. You may be jumping too soon.
 
Still determining issue with the car but I am just going to bite the bullet and refresh the motor and keep the car. 100% leak down in #4 cylinder.
