Halloween Dyno Day @ APS

We will be having a dyno day October 31st.

$50 gets you three pulls. Already have around 10 commited to show. Highest 8 cylinder power will pay back $100. 6 and 4 cylinder will be lumped together and also pay back $100. I'm betting a 4 banger wins the 4vs.6 anyway. IF..........4cyl. or 6 cylinder sets highest power all day they will get $300, and the others get nothing.

No alcohol will be allowed on the property for personal consumption. If your car is on the corn then that's cool, just not you.

If we have 15 commited we will supply food and drink. If we can get a cook the cook's pulls will be free.

If the weather is crap we'll move it to the next Saturday until the roads are safe and our trailer load and unload lot next door is not soft.

I made it to the dyno testing today and had a great time. Yesterday aternoon, I had switched the fuel management system to the SD Chip from TurboTweak and set the parameters for A/F ratio according to the rich side of the recommended ratios of 10.8 to 11.0. Ran 101 octane fuel with methanol and 23/21 degrees of timing. Initial boost setting was 24#'s and convertor was not locked. I made no changes except as noted.

Boost HP Torque

Run 1 Base per above 24 472 618

Dump cap opened 30 511 658

Convertor locked 29 560 724

EGT was 1550 max on all runs and no knock was incurred.:biggrin::biggrin:

My car will remain "as is" and will make it to the track ASAP to see what track time I can get.
