grrrr stupid fan delay relay

Well comming out of lunch about 10 minutes ago I hear that my fan was still running. Luckly the car started i unpluged the relay and took the car to work it's only around the corner, I called a few places and only Advanced Auto carries the delay relay its $34.99, What I would like to know is, Can I just remove or unplug the fan relays "all three or just the big one" and wire the fan to a switch in the car?

Unplug BOTH connectors from the big one and you will be fine.

This assumes your chip commands low speed operation at 160-180 degrees temps.

High speed should come on with the A/C or over 214 degrees temps.

If those two relay systems work you don't need the fan delay relay at all in MHO.

Thanks salvageV6, i will unplug both of those and but a lil grease in there and tape them up, then on hte weekend i will go ahead and put the switch it
