Engine swaps

Those pics are either an LT1 with an opti delete or a tpi with an LT1 intake adapted. Either way the guy is a bit off trying to run those superchargers on that engine when there are a few different turbo setups that would be easier, cheaper, and more effective. I know a few guys that are running turbo LT1's including a twin turbo setup that was just finished a couple months ago.

The point of a supercharger is for instant power without the turbo spool time, but that setup runs all the turbo type plumbing which will still end up leading to less than instant throttle response. If he could find a way to run a single supercharger in place of the intake such as the magnacharger setup then he'd have a great project on his hands.

As for the Supra engine in a Buick I say go for it, as long as you sell the original drivetrain to someone for a turbo conversion or a stock rebuild so that it doesn't go to waste.
