My high school buddy won the Outlaw Radial class @ the fall Lights Out event with a stock suspension Mustang on 315's. Jason went 4.47 @ 162. Ricky Fox bought the car & raced it @ the event the other day. SGMP is the mecca of radial & small tire drag racing.

The feb race is usually where the records are broken. DA this year was -400 feet for many of the passes so combine that with the racing surface we had this year and crazy things will happen.

Kevin's launch and aborted pass made for a scary time. It's odd his Go-Pro hung in there for the whole incident. I heard Markiewicz ran a .26 in outlaw 10.5. That's haulin!

Kevin was parked next to us. We made the bump 31 out of 32 cars.
We broke a transmission, changed it, then broke the input shaft. We ran a 5.17.
That was my buddies Trans-Am.....I ran the 5.70 index in my Big block GN.
Couldn't slow it down enough.....though I had it, till the cold front after the first rain changed things.
