My son just informed me that HotRod magazine's "PowerTour" will be passing through Lake Charles, LA; Shreveport, LA; and D-FW areas on their southern swing sometime in early June, '03. That is ~ 1 hours drive for me! Don't know the details, but I WILL find out soon.

The link says the tour is wrapping up in the DFW area on the 5th and 6th. IRL is at the motor speedway that weekend, but they might be in the parking lot (The pate swap meet was the same weekend as the CART Race last year)

TMS is less than 9 miles to my house so I'll be there to check it out if it's there.

Sounds good for me providing I wont be working . Shreveport is about a 2 1/2 hour drive for me.

Not sure where Mark is from but says north central Texas so maybe we could just meet up in DFW area and all drive down together. Nothing prettier than a line of turbo Buicks hauling ass down the interstate.

I've met Mark a couple of times he also has the Convt GS!
I believe he's in the Plano area.

I work in Addison, but live out in the sticks. Between Gainesville and Sherman.

And DRKSYD, I consider the TTA a turbo Buick! The only reason I bought the car is that awesome motor!

I bought the car from a guy in Fort Worth. Found the ad on www.cars.com. Just got lucky.

David, maybe we could bring this up at the first Buick club meeting on the 8th? This would be a FUN thing for us to do. Several of the guys may want to do it.

I agree. I did send this thread to the lspbc email list just in case they weren't watching this board, and got one response so we may have a few people going.
Turbo Don will be making the full tour so he will be there.
