Bump steer kit setting...

I'm hoping someone has a decent procedure for finding out the distance to set the outer rod end on the spindle, or someone has already done this and can give me an approximate distance from the bottom of the spindle.
I have done the S10 spindle swap if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

Did you look at the sticky about suspension and brake up grades Jason? There's a few vids at the end showing how to set it. If not, then you will need a magnetic base and dial indicator. Take the wheel off, support the frame on jack stands, and have the needle on the rotor. Jack up right under the ball joint and watch the dial indicator. Adjust the stud until you get the lowest variation of the indicator. Make sure the steering wheel is in a locked position so the linkage doesn't shift other than at the knuckle.
