Brake pressure switch

Ok. So my powermaster pump runs non stop. I have a new pressure switch to put on. Is there a trick to get the old switch off? I pumped the pedal 15 times to reduce the pressure then grabbed the thing with channel locks..... NOTHING! Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Should have converted to vacuum. That thing is a night mare . Good luck

That should be all you have to do. Maybe try a crescent wrench. I replaced my switch and pump this spring.

I used a channel lock on mine, didn't have to worry about damaging the one coming off. They're in there pretty good.
You can still use a channel lock on the new one, just snug it real good without damaging it.

Or, you could get your self a 1 1/2" box end wrench. I just did a test fit on mine and it seems to fit. A hex box end would do better than the 12 point that I have.

No they're not. Not if properly maintained. 90% haven't been.
