There has been another topic on this that has moved to vendor section. Order is as follows 1,3,5,2,4,6. Numbers are excellent but oil still blowing out of grommets. With those numbers can it be blow by?

Numbers look okay, is the PCV valve stopping boost from entering the crankcase

Like I myself and others have mentioned in the other thread, do a leak down test.

Those valve covers you have put the grommet and breather in an area were the rockers sling oil right on them. Your solution may possibly be something as simple as changing out your breather/grommet/valve cover strategy. I’m not saying that is conclusively you issue but it may be a possibility.

dude stay the fuck out of chat. I am asking a question about the engine. not referring to anyone's name.

#3 spark plug looked glazed all the others had some carbon on them. But generally ok. Put plugs back in and drove it around for a little bit and opened up hood again.

one side this time. other day was both sides with oil vapors blowing out the breathers. I don't have the resources to do a leak down test. so I will just have to wait. But I am no expert I think where the problem is in the #3 cylinder just but the way the plug looked. will post picture later I don't have it on my phone

do a cold test then a hot test see where the comp numbers are

did not work was told to get that by builder and it send my blm to 90. put stock one back in and went back to 128.

This will only make it worse according to a professional. Motors with excessive blow by will have more blowby

I just don't get it. And I'm sorry I can't share the experience of working on very many engines,

Maybe I'm lucky. And because of that, maybe I'm spoiled. But no way does any of this seem normal to me.

For years I had open breathers with no baffles or anything. Just a tube and cheap push in K&N breather filter. And I never had a PCV, the hole was deleted and completely welded up in the intake. Never did I have catch cans until last spring.

And never did a drop of oil ever escape the engine. I would see condensation when cold, and oily vapor when hot, and the filter would get greasy, but not dripping or spraying oil. Every now and then, I would brake-clean the breathers, soap and water rinse, let them dry and pop them back in. That's it.

Not until after 12 years or so did the rear main begin to drip. Then after changing it, I decided to do a breather tank set-up.

I have a funny feeling I should stay away from this thread.

If you dissect his particular valve covers, breathers, and rockers, you will see that the rockers sit right underneath the opening slinging oil right into the breather. Couple that with a possibility of the PCV not sealing under boost and it could possibly be causing his issues.

I’m not saying conclusively that is happening.

I’m just looking at it for what it is and helping diagnose his current issues.

It could be something simple or it could be something more deep.

Leak down test is yet to be performed.

Looks like fuel from the pictures. Looks like it may be a tad rich. From the pictures, it doesn’t look like oil. We can’t conclusively rule out oil though. Gotta perform a leak down test.
