6466 Feedback Wanted

Dyno yet?.....I tell ya I changed mine to comp 941s and mine only goes to 6400. and from what Brian says, that's about all I need
Haven't dyno'd it with the 6466 but I think its around 7-750rwhp. The 45a went 680 at 23-24#'s. Springs should be here this week and installed then dyno to see if it fixed issue. 6400rpm would make me happy because it pulls like a freight train at 5500-5900 where it starts breaking up.

Keep us posted if the new springs remedy the problem. What springs are you currently running now?

I'll let you know what a 6265 JB can do after the track at Noble opens up. Been fighting gremlins for a long time and think they have all been found and fixed.

Mine ran 6.60's at 103-105 with a 6265 JB running 93/alky on 23-24 lbs of boost. Like me, it was a fat boy but both the car and I have taken off some weight.

Looking forward to the opening of track at Noble.

101.31 mph at 26# is the best so far for my 6262 journal bearing.

Scooby Doo--What is your combo and what boost? Thanks.

My friend ran a 7.4 @ 94-96mph with roller cam(206 I believe), alky injection, 6262 turbo, stock intercooler, pi converter, and 21-23psi. Running a chip for alky but something is up because the car gets pinging on top end and resulted in blown hg first part of last season. I know the tune is off and could be a lean condition or too much advance. Does not having the tuning tools to dial it in. He cut the boost back to 16-18psi after the hg failure but still run 7.6's 92-93mph. This car should be running closer to 100mph? The car 60's in the 1.6s.

Pretty much just stock junk. Stock bottom end with the exception of forged pistons. Flat tappet cam...stock rockers...ported stock heads...SMC alky...5.7 chip...Art Carr convertor...and that's about it. Hell, I even tune with NB. I basically tune for 1st and 2nd gear...and let the turbo/boost pressure pull my sorry ass down the track in high gear.:)

I have gone faster with the 6466 than I did with the 6776 with less boost. Spools faster and hits harder. My 6776 has big housing on both sides. Cal made the decision to go with the big exhaust housing on the 6466 to calm the spool down. Good thing he did. Making more power and not pushing it.
