Would a 6262 journal bearing turbo be too big for a stock long block? will have a 2800 ptc converter, 60# injectors, alky. thanks
I think the 6262 would work fine on your setup.
We have run 11.20 at over 120 with the 6262Billet with a loosened D5 convertor, motor was all stock with te exception of replacement valve springs
I run a journal 6262 on my stock long block car....LOVE it....2800 PTS 911 here...
I agree the 6262 might work well, but do any of you with this 6262 have any good time track time or boost control issues?
Nice dyno numbers. Is that with the 6262 and was the converter locked?
Thanks, Scott

I have my boost set for 25(low)-30psi(high) and run a deltagate external....no control issues here...boost comes on quick and stays solid to redline....
...those numbers were with the old 6152e with the TC locked ... but its not much of a difference...I just opted for the 6262 and sold the 6152e....very similar turbos in my opinion....

I ran 10.80@124 with a 6262 journal bearing. 100% stock motor and original valve springs. 0 pump 5 disc Vigilante. Boost was 29-30lbs. Through a Dutt neck IC too.
