Just ordered a Weber roller cam and am not sure what Valve springs I need.

Cam is 224/224 .574 lift with 1.60 rockers and 112 lobe separation.
Will the comp 918 springs work?

You will want a spring with l60-180# seat pressure and 450+ open pressure. The comp 26926 works well as does the PAC 1203 spring.

That is a very good 9 sec cam. Very aggressive, and works great when pushing a 3 bolt turbo. Good springs are a must. This is the same cam I am running into the 8's.

hmm i was shooting for low 10's

4.1 girdled long rod stroker, champion irons, above cam, 6667 bb turbonetics, precision front mount, 3200 stall, champion intake, 3.5 in downpipe, 60 lb injectors and alky

Just received My pac 1203 springs today and the retainers from my champion irons don't fit and also the inner spring of the the assembly is not big enough around to go around my valve seal. Did I get the wrong ones?

The new ones are on the left. Too small

1203 springs are not drop on springs. I did a thread about a year ago covering whats involved to run aggressive lobes and set the springs up on iron heads.

Well crap what are some drop on springs then

What about the valve seals? Do I need narrower ones?

Yes. Search under my name in the engine tech and the thread shoes what it takes

I run the 26918 comp beehive springs on my motor. 1.73 rockers, 218/224, .580, 114, and rev to 6200rpm. Can't remember seat pressures but my enGine builder set I up to go 9's and expected this motor to see up to 27psi.
