200-4R 2nd gear start, quick shifts

double post but since I have it,

To clear up the second gear starts I disconnected the tv at the tb and gave it sharp pulls to try to clear out the tv valve. Mine doesn't do it all the time and I am running the .500 though I do want to try a .531 that D Husek sells on my next one.

One question of the advise another of the GURU guys gave. Those governor weights, what vb were you using for him to recommend those weights? TIA
For those searching another of the Lonnie tidbits was to use a tv spring that is 2.1 inches long. Seemed to work for me.

I don't know exactly what valve body I had originally, the car is an 87 Cutlass, not a 442 model.
