For whatever reason, my cam sensor wont seat with the timing chain cover. I've tried everything I can think of but theres about an 1/4" gap between the base of the cam sensor & cover. It seems to start going in the oil pump groove but stops and won't seat. I may try next to slowly & carefully...

MY Heat/AC system is stuck on defrost with air only going to the windshield. Moving the HEAT/AC control leaver activates the heater or AC compressor OK but the vents will not switch the air, they are stuck at defrost! Any easy fixes here without tearing out my dash & duct work ?

I got a VDO Temp Sender #323-095 per a gnttype post with '86-87 part numbers. This sender is 1/8-27, 250F and it looks about half the size it needs to be. What VDO part number do I actually need?
