are the cam sensors all the same part# for 84 through 87 or are they different for the non intercooled? If they are different, as my GN has the 87 ECM along with maf and mat sensor. should i use the 86/87 Cam sensor. Any suggestions anyone... thanks

I saw in one of the recepies that u can get 20psi out of a hot air? How???? I got mine up 15psi, with still bit of knock. Then drove it before i put it away for the winter (it was cold outside maybe 44deg.) it seemed to ping at WOT alot. Do u have to turn the boost down as it gets cold out?

I took my car out for a ride yesterday, i noticed @ a dead stop, i punched it, as soon as the boost hit up to 15psi i heard a pinging type sound at the engine, i backed off right away... is this due to a knock?? I never noticed it before, it was very cold yesterday around 38degrees...

Still tryin to figure out why all of a sudden when i start my car up cold, i notice a clapping type sound comming right at the cam sensor, i can feel it with my hand. It slowly goes away after car is warmed up. Has anyone have any idea? please let me know. could the oil pump be making that noise?

Ok, When i start my car cold, I hear a clapping type sound. I pinpointed the noise comminf straight under the Cam Sensor. Slowing goes away after the car warms up? Anyone know what this noise is and why is it there? thanks Paul

What do you guys think about adding a manual Boost controller? Wolud it benefit me as far as decreasing boost lag. I have an adjustable wastegate now, but its a pain to adjust. Please let me know. your opinions. thanks Paul C
