with the led cap it lights up, so i thought i got this, but i rotate it and the light won't go off, i thought it lights up at tdc ? so by turning it more shouldn't the light then go off ?? i even turned almost 1/2 a turn and it still stay's lit. have to run out for a bit, hopefully i'll have...

under the cap what turns while the car is running, is it the brass wheel or the round disk that the wheel is screwed to ?? and i don't under stand how the cap with the led knows where tdc is ??............. thanks

if i unplug the cam sensor and the problem is still there, but in my case it runs worse. it is not a cam sensor or a cap problem

1) i tried doing the cam sensor trick , start car then unplug it, well the car idled real bad and when put in gear would die??? why is that ?? 2) and whel they say turn the cam sensor an 1/8 to a 1/4 turn at a time , do they mean 1/4 turn or 1/4 inch at a time ?? 3) when turning car off how long...

the ones i took out looked good , but how i gapped them last time shocks me. 1 was @ 45 - 1 was @ 25 and the last 4 were 35 - 35 - 32 - and 38... this time i know they are all good @ 32..... so how and why would it idle worse.... and if you are here , on the cam sensor what are most set at ...

i did a search and found lots of stuff just not this or i missed it. i wana try and turn it an 1/8 to 1/4 of a turn ccw... some say to disconect it once running , but how there's no room ??

i drove the car a bit today and it was working, i go out now and it doesn't light up ... i checked fuses they seem good.... any help, what should i try or look for ???

auto gage vacuum / boost gauge # 2310 it's listed as a 2 - 5/8 in. 30 vac / 20 psi boost..................$35 shiped u.s or trade for a knock or tach gauge 2 - 1/16 -- or a 2 gauge a piller

SHAFT seals :do i have to remove the thottle body from the plenum ??.. how do they come out and go back in ?? i got my seal today and was hopeing for directions but none, did a search none. so to those who have done could you walk me threw it ??... i'm heading out now to block off the egr will...

some say no biggy to block it off, and then i'm told the egr valve helps in all kinds of way's, that's why i'm here , to ask the one's who know the most about these cars.. block it off is like $20 replace it $59 .. hope to get good info as i need to order.. thanks

i posted here as more people are here, but i put it in the general turbo tech section under ( found vac leaks now i realy need help ) and i do need advice and help, it's been 6 years with out realy driving it..

1 ) at the base of vac lines bolted on top of the throttle body - what do i do can i use a gasket type sealer or do i need a new one ? if so what's it called ? 2 ) at the base of the egr valve - i can see bubbles , but i can't see for sure where , i'm thinking is there a gasket down there ...

i want to preassure test my 87 for vac leaks i read you can do it from the thottle body , and a soild maf pipe so can i mount and preassure it right on the turbo inlet ???? i would think i could but don't wana do it before i'm sure. and i'm ready to test now, thanks
