throttle body shaft seals, help

SHAFT seals :do i have to remove the thottle body from the plenum ??.. how do they come out and go back in ??
i got my seal today and was hopeing for directions but none, did a search none. so to those who have done could you walk me threw it ??... i'm heading out now to block off the egr will check back soon, with hopes of what i need.........................thanks
