    Black 86 T-Type; Texas Car

Just FYI to all interested, the exterior of the car looks pretty nice. It was repainted about 2 years ago. The interior on the other hand is what really needs some work in this car. You can't tell too much from the pictures (I'll get some more up soon in better lighting conditions), but...

I need a complete, grey, stock shifter handle. I can't buy a new one because they require using the inside parts from your previous handle and I don't have that anymore. PM me please.

    Need Vacuum Brake Help...Badly!

I installed the vacuum brake system on my car today because my accumulator went bad so I figured now would be a good time to convert and solve all my brake issues...Yeah right... I went to bleed the brakes and the rear bleeder screw on my driver side snapped off! It just broke right in half...

    Vacuum Brake Check Vavle

I was just wondering how to test the check valve that goes in line with the vacuum brake system...you just blow into it and in one direction it shouldn't blow out the other side right? Because if so it looks like I need to stop by autozone before I install these bad boys...it sure does let air...

    Not Pumping Oil!

That's what I did (although I probably only primed it for about 15 seconds) but I let it run for a few minutes afterwards... The noise started out pretty quiet, but after running it for a few minutes it got louder so I decided it'd be better to turn it off and investigate. That's when I pulled...

    Not Pumping Oil!

Alright, this is really strange...It came time for my oil change, so, I changed my oil just like normal...I used Pennzoil 20w-50 oil with an AC Delco PF-52 oil filter. I get everything finished and I start it back up and it sounds noisier than normal so I take off the valve cover and see that...

parting out Maroon 86 T-Type donor...

Are the power lock door poppers the little chrome thingy or the motor that actually does the power locking/unlocking. If they happen to be the motors, are they in decent condition (mine aren't strong enough to lock anymore :( )

    Quality Vacumm Hose

I bought the silicone vacuum hoses from http://www.roadraceengineering.com/hoseandclamps.htm and haven't had any problems. I don't remember how much I ordered, but if you search the forums there are a few posts that say how much you will need of each size to replace all your vacuum lines.
