my t type has 206,000and resently put an oil guage in it and noticed at a cold start it had 80 psi and when it warmed up only 10 psi would putting a spacer with bigger gears work or do i have to replace the timing chain cover

my t type has 206,000 on it recently hooked up an oil guage and was surprised on a cold start it has 80 psi but when it warms up it only 10 psi is this typical or do i need a new oil pump i hear people put a spacer with bigger gears it does this works or do i have to get a new timing cover??????
