Right on...this car has mild mods. 3in DP, Cold Air, Hot Wire Kit and Pump, 36lb injectors. It smells a little fat while driving. TT seems to be the ninja eh? :cool:

I found out what I did. I ran the turbo with NO IC pipes...just a free spinning turbo blowing into the atmosphere. I was Spinng the turbo way too fast. Thats what bent the Shaft.
Took out the Camaro L36 (stock 3.8 V6) last night with the Freshly rebuilt T3/T4 BB Turbo. First light pass with the FMU cranked all the way up (CarTech) to keep it safe. Hit 6 psi in second gear felt real good then I heard a wine...like an M90 blower. Though it might be a messed up boot because...
exhaust valves
Im not 100% on this but my local Cyl. head machinest told me to get a tulip shaped exhaust valve. He told me this will speed up the exhaust speed to get a quicker spool. This guy has been doing heads for 20 years, so I turust him. If you still have your heads off you might want...

Their is a book called "TurboChargers" HP Books makes it. I got my copy at a local performance shop. Its got alot of good info on understanding Turbos. Its kinda old but it helps for sure. Someone really needs to make a newer book with up to date infromation and technoligy.

Thats about what I want. Do you know if the Stock Turbo will make that boost in an efficent range? Do you know where I could get a compressor map for the stock turbos? If no does anyone know how many pounds of air a min. it will flow? I was thinking around 30.

I understand that ther is a solenoid that controlls boost. I am wanting to bypass it to run lower boost for a custom project. Does anyone know what the Gate is set at with no solenoid? If no one knows what it is and someone is board and they want to try it to help me out that would be Great...

Im not sure if someone has posted this or not (I didnt fell like reading the whold thing). Im almost sure you can use the pedal setup out of an 80's El Camino, a few of them had stick shifts.
