What turbo is this????

I've always thought I had a TE-44 on my car. I was just cleaning the intercooler and looked inside the outlet housing and saw that it was stamped 34 and 44 one on top of the other. I can't tell which one was stamped last. Would anyone rebuild a TE-34 into a TE-44 or the other way around? So now I am wondering how can I tell which turbo I have? What a mess! Thanks

Is there a way I could measure the impellers or something to find out?

Call Harry at PTE. If you have a dialcaliper you can measure the wheels and harry will tell you what it is.
