    How does injecting water cool to a temp lower then the water itself?

    Its because of the low pressure. When you inject water into an area of lower pressure (your KB inlet) the water vaporises much faster than it normally would at a higher pressure. Since it vaporises so much faster it removes the heat in a shorter ammount of time. Thus your cold inlet pipe.

    Has anyone ever datalogged ACT's with nitrous? Im thinking about adding a 50 or 75 shot to help spool the turbo (hot air) and was wondering how much it will drop the ACT's.

    This doesnt answer the question, but I know of a mustang with a Kenne Bell injecting straight water before the blower and was able to add 6 degrees of timing with no other changes. You can sit here and argue about theories all you want, but 6 degrees of timing is about 50-60 hp. Who cares...

    Alky or propane for really hot air?

    With discharge temps around 250-275 which would suit me better? Just because the temps are lower with the alky does that automatically mean that it will be more effective at reducing knock than the propane at a higher discharge temp?
