I tried it again today---
Cold--

Code 33 -- higher MAF reading than expected.
It's supposed to be an Impala SS MAF.
I have tried setting the 1st button to both "3" & "0". I unplugged the ECM after changing the setting. The results were the same.
I recently purchased a used Translator and a used MAF off from EBAY. I installed both last night and am getting a service engine light. TurboLink show that the MAF reading at idle is 11 to 12.
I have the first three switches on the Translator set to on and the 4th is off.
Any suggestions...
Still haven't finished this setup. I ruptured a disk in my lower back while switching the intake and turbo and haven't been able to lean over the fender to finish the project--still have Poston headers, 2 1/2" ATR downpipe, and Hooker exhaust system waiting to go on the car. It doesn't spool...
I have a TA-49 in the hotair housing from Limit Engineering and it was a direct bolt-on. You will need to port the elbow and the turbo to intake adapter.

You you want to try out this setup on your car, send me an email and maybe we...

Also, how much power (amps) does this thing draw--would my stock alternator be adequate?
I'd like to convert my hotair to an electric fan.
Mine both started and idled better with the MAF unplugged. It would also start with the bad unit connected. Don't know if there are circumstances where a bad unit would keep the car from starting.
Talked to Postons this morning about exchanging the defective Tomco unit--no problem, they...
